A unit monitoring and evaluation meeting is held by the Kütahya Dumlupınar University Quality Coordination Office with the participation of the academic staff and students of the Tavşanlı Faculty of Applied Sciences. Quality Coordinator Dr. Figen Karaferye and Deputy Quality Coordinator Dr. Burcu Akdeniz attend the meeting. During the meeting, the road map followed by our university within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) is discussed together with the functioning of the quality assurance system at the faculty level, and the reflections of the previously conducted training and information meetings on unit-level practices are evaluated. In addition, examples of good practices are shared on the preparation of action plans based on the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) cycle, the systematic monitoring of quality indicators, and ways to strengthen units’ contributions to the IAP process. Within the scope of the meeting, documents related to the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP), available on the Quality Coordination Office website, are introduced, and participants are informed that they can access more detailed information about the process through these resources. The meeting concludes with a Q&A session, the sharing of suggestions, and the identification of areas in which the faculty needs support in its quality processes. Such meetings held at the faculty level are expected to contribute to strengthening quality awareness across our university and to increasing effective participation in the IAP process.
