A quality processes evaluation meeting is held by the Kütahya Dumlupınar University Quality Coordination Office with the participation of the Engineering Faculty Leadership, Management and Quality Sub-Commission members and academic staff from various departments of the faculty.

The meeting is attended by the Head of the Department of Mining Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ali Uçar, the Chair of the Engineering Faculty Leadership, Management and Quality Sub-Commission, Prof. Dr. Kaan Erarslan, and the members of the Sub-Commission.

Representing the Quality Coordination Office, Quality Coordinator Dr. Figen Karaferye and Deputy Quality Coordinator Lect. Latife Sürsavur Demirel take part in the meeting.

During the meeting, the impact of the training sessions and informative guides previously conducted by the Quality Coordination Office on practical implementation is evaluated. It is stated that the meeting serves as a follow-up session of a control–action nature, addressing the issues encountered by the unit in practice.

The event focuses on the completion of PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) cycle action plans, the systematic monitoring of quality indicators, and the contributions expected from units during the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) process. Additionally, points to be considered in reporting processes and the preparation of quality documents are reviewed through sample tables.

The meeting concludes with answering participants’ questions, sharing suggestions related to implementation, and identifying the needs of the units. Such meetings held at the faculty level are expected to strengthen quality awareness at our university and support active participation in the Institutional Accreditation process.
