The 14th meeting of the Kütahya Dumlupınar University Quality Coordination Office is held online on Tuesday, September 18, 2025. The meeting begins with the opening speech of the Vice-Rector responsible for quality, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Arif Özgür. Prof. Dr. Özgür emphasizes that the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) process carries great importance for the institutional development of the university, that this process moves the institution into a different category, and that it strengthens the institutional level of quality culture.

In line with the decisions taken during the meeting, it is stated that time must be used efficiently in preparation for the preliminary evaluation that takes place in October 2025 and the on-site evaluation planned for November 2025, as foreseen in the guideline. It is underlined that any deficiencies at this stage must be addressed quickly. It is emphasized that peer evaluation practices in all units must be completed urgently, that any issues encountered during implementation must be shared with the Quality Coordination Office without delay, and that maintaining continuous communication is important. Additionally, it is decided that each Sub-Working Group identifies the areas that need improvement in accordance with the 2024 Institutional Internal Evaluation Report (KIDR) and the External Evaluation Reports, prepares their action tables and concrete outputs, and monitors and reports these systematically.

The meeting concludes by highlighting the importance of carrying out the ongoing activities within the IAP process in a way that ensures they are reportable and assessable, and ends with good wishes.
