Unit-based Peer Review Process Information Meeting Is Held at DPU


The “Unit-Based Peer Review” information training organized by the Kütahya Dumlupınar University Quality Coordination Office is conducted online at 14:00 on Monday, September 1, 2025. The training is delivered by Dr. Yeşim Araboğa.
During the meeting, the principles of the peer review process, which aims to make the strengths and areas for improvement of university units visible and to contribute to the culture of continuous improvement, are shared. The peer review process, implemented university-wide, is first carried out as a pilot in selected units; following the information meeting, the process is officially launched in all units. The methods and criteria for the evidence-based evaluation of Unit Internal Evaluation Reports by peer units are explained.
Within the scope of the training, the monitoring of the PDCA Cycle (Plan–Do–Check–Act) in the areas of leadership–governance and quality, education and training, research and development, and societal contribution, the types of evidence expected in the reports, the self-evaluation approach, the preparation of good practice examples, and the structuring of improvement action plans are explained with examples.
The timeline of the process is also shared during the training, which is attended by the quality sub-working group members of academic and administrative units and unit administrators. It is reminded that Peer Review Reports must be submitted to the Quality Coordination Office by September 15, 2025.
