Prof. Osman Tolga Şinoforoğlu, Head of the Coaching Education Department of the Faculty of Sports Sciences—whose program successfully completes the accreditation process—shares his experiences. His presentation highlights the essential points that must be considered throughout quality enhancement efforts. In addition, he emphasizes that accreditation standards should be determined based on the dynamics of each academic field/program and that the process should be carried out with the participation of academic and administrative staff, students, and external stakeholders.

Assoc. Prof. Şinoforoğlu places particular emphasis on the Education and Training dimension of quality studies, addressing the importance of curriculum relevance, coherence between program outcomes and learning outcomes, the consistency and comprehensiveness of assessment and evaluation tools, and the inclusion of stakeholder feedback in improvement processes. He highlights the critical role of effectively implementing the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) cycle in all program and departmental quality operations.

The event concludes with an interactive Q&A session, followed by closing remarks from Quality Coordinator Dr. Figen Karaferye, who provides information about upcoming activities and extends her appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Osman Tolga Şinoforoğlu for his contributions.
