Quality Policy

Kütahya Dumlupınar University establishes and maintains a quality assurance approach across all institutional processes in education, research, and community engagement. The University adopts a participatory, transparent, and ethically grounded governance culture, ensuring data-driven decision-making, enhanced stakeholder satisfaction, and a continuous improvement cycle.

The University systematically integrates a culture of quality into its institutional structure and operates a sustainable Quality Management System in compliance with national and international quality standards.

Priority Areas

Within the strategic development framework of our University, it has been aimed to periodically review and update the priority areas and to adopt strategies aligned with the 2023 vision. In this context, as part of the activities of the Quality Commission, the Priority Areas have been determined as follows:

  • Tile Art, Cultural Heritage, and Traditional Arts
  • Biotechnology; Renewable Energy Technologies including Wind Energy, Solar Energy, and Energy Storage Systems
  • Water Resources, Soil Sciences, and Environmental Sustainability
  • Underground Resources, Boron, and Mining.

Objective 1 – Institutionalizing a Quality Culture

Specific Goals:

  • To support quality processes within academic and administrative units
  • To ensure the regular and effective functioning of unit quality commissions
  • To provide guidance and information on the quality assurance system

Objective 2 – Enhancing a Continuous Improvement Approach

Specific Goals:

  • To ensure the systematic evaluation of surveys, feedback, and monitoring data
  • To guide internal evaluation and improvement activities of units
  • To contribute to the dissemination of improvement recommendations and best practice examples across the institution

Objective 3 – Monitoring and Reporting Quality Processes

Specific Goals:

  • To coordinate internal evaluation and YÖKAK processes
  • To monitor quality indicators on an annual basis
  • To ensure transparent and open communication with stakeholders

Objective 4 – Increasing Participation and Awareness

Specific Goals:

  • To encourage participation of students, staff, and external stakeholders in quality processes
  • To organize informational events and training programs
  • To develop and disseminate informative content related to quality assurance
