About the Workshop

The Workshop on Digital Transformation and Quality Management Systems is organized to address the innovations brought by digitalization in higher education and the resulting transformations in quality management. Digitalization in the fields of education, research, social contribution, and governance is fundamentally reshaping the approach to quality management; creating new opportunities while presenting various challenges for universities.

Hosted by Kütahya Dumlupınar University, this workshop aims to share best practices in digital quality management, enhance our university's institutional business processes, and strengthen inter-university cooperation.

The workshop will focus on the following key areas:

• Sharing best practice examples and experiences from leading universities,

• Effective utilization of the PDCA cycle within digital systems,

• Proposed solutions for common challenges,

• A sustainable and innovative digital quality management roadmap for our university,

• Developing processes to ensure more effective participation of all stakeholders.

Furthermore, dedicated sharing platforms established within the scope of the workshop—including documents, implementation examples, and keynote presentations—will remain accessible to all participants. This initiative aims to contribute to the dissemination of best practices across the higher education sector.

Through this workshop, we aim to take decisive steps toward digital transformation, foster a sustainable and innovative approach to quality management, and implement practices that will serve as a model in higher education.

Objective

The Workshop on Digital Transformation and Quality Management Systems is organized to evaluate the innovations introduced by digitalization in higher education and the subsequent transformations within quality management. Digitalization in education, research, social contribution, and governance fundamentally reshapes the understanding of quality management, offering new opportunities and posing various challenges for universities.

As Kütahya Dumlupınar University, we have organized this workshop with the goals of sharing best practices in digital quality management, enhancing our institution’s business processes, and strengthening inter-university cooperation.

Key themes to be addressed in the workshop include:

• Transfer of experiences and best practices from leading universities,

• Effective utilization of the PDCA cycle in digital systems,

• Proposed solutions for encountered challenges,
