Kütahya Dumlupınar University (DPÜ) participates in the external stakeholder meeting hosted by the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO), represented by Quality Coordinator Dr. Lec. Figen Karaferye. The meeting is chaired by Fatih Alkış, a board member of KUTSO.

At the opening of the program, Fatih Alkış emphasizes KUTSO’s stakeholder-oriented management approach and the importance of collaboration in institutional quality advancement and development. In this context, he highlights the critical role of inter-institutional interaction and feedback mechanisms for sustainable quality governance.

The meeting includes an informational presentation titled “KUTSO Quality Journey,” delivered by KUTSO’s Deputy Secretary General A. Orhan Güngör, which outlines the chamber’s quality management system, accreditation efforts, and ongoing institutional development activities. A subsequent presentation on Strategic Plan Management and Strategic Planning is given by H. Feyyaz Ebeoğlugil, covering strategic planning processes, current objectives, and monitoring and evaluation practices.

In addition, a briefing on human resources practices—focusing on corporate development and improvement initiatives—is presented by KUTSO’s Quality and Human Resources Officer Haver Efe Çetin.

The interactive segment of the program gathers insights and suggestions from representatives of public institutions, universities, local governments, and professional organizations. Participants underscore the value of stakeholder feedback for enhancing service quality, reviewing strategic goals, and contributing inputs to institutional improvement processes.

Representing the University, Dr. Lecturer Figen Karaferye shares perspectives on quality assurance systems, university–industry collaborations, and continuous improvement-oriented practices. She stresses that such meetings are valuable for strengthening partnerships among the university, the city, and industry, and for systematically integrating external stakeholder contributions into institutional quality processes.

The meeting concludes with expressions of thanks and closing remarks.
