Monitoring and Improvement Meetings Continue in February within the Scope of the Integrated Quality Management System

Meetings aimed at monitoring and improving unit-based activities within the scope of the Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) are conducted throughout February by the Quality Coordination Office of Kütahya Dumlupınar University. Within this process, it is aimed to reach all academic and administrative units of the university individually, and comprehensive visits are carried out through unit-based planning with both online and face-to-face meetings. In this way, the effective use of IQMS across all units is ensured, processes are evaluated on-site, and areas open to improvement are directly identified.

Within the scope of the meetings held in February 2026, face-to-face meetings are conducted on 23 February 2026 with the Research and Application Centers, Coordinatorships, Rectorate Department Chairmanships, the Research Deanship, and the Technology Transfer Office (TTO). On the same day, face-to-face meetings are also held with the General Secretariat, Administrative Departments, the Accessible Student Unit, the Disciplinary Affairs Unit, the Revolving Fund Management Office, and the Legal Consultancy Office.

On 24 February 2026, the process continues with Domaniç, Emet, and Gediz Vocational Schools, while online meetings are conducted with Kütahya Vocational School of Fine Arts, Kütahya Technical Sciences Vocational School, Simav Vocational School, Şaphane Vocational School, and Tavşanlı Vocational School. On the same day, a face-to-face meeting is held with the Faculty of Theology, while online meetings are conducted with Dumlupınar Vocational School, Hisarcık Vocational School, and Kütahya Vocational School of Social Sciences.

The visits within the scope of February are completed with the face-to-face meeting held with the Faculty of Engineering on 26 February 2026.

The meetings are conducted by Assistant Professor Figen Karaferye, Assistant Professor Yeşim Araboğa, Assistant Professor Hilal Kılmanoğlu, and Lecturer Dr. Halime Özge Bahar Güner.

During the meetings, the activities carried out by the units within the scope of IQMS are evaluated, and the current status regarding process management, performance indicators, risk management, and improvement activities is analyzed. In addition, issues encountered in the use of the system are discussed, and practical guidance is provided to the units.

Through these activities, it is aimed to strengthen the quality assurance system at the university, ensure the widespread and effective use of IQMS across all units, and develop the culture of continuous improvement at the institutional level.
